Dog Food

Well as I was getting Snowy and Candy's dinner tonight, I wondered whether the premium dog food you buy from the Vet is really any better than the type you can buy from your supermarket. I actually use a bit of both, but I have always wondered what sort of dog food is best for our dogs. Any thoughts?
